Seventy Seven Drugs Are Out Of Stock In Hospitals

 There's a shortage of 77  drug varities  in government hospitals and in  the Medical supplies Division at present according to the Ministry of Health.


However the Ministry had locally purchashed around 400 varities  of drugs and distributed them to  Government hospitals  the Mimistry officials had stated.Health authorities had distributed 378 varities of drugs that have been  purchased  tbrough the indian credit line as well.

Road In Colombo Fory Blocked Due To A Fallen Tree

The road from  fort to Lake house in Colombo had been completely closed due to a falling of a tree near the World Trade Center in Fort  across the road this morning (03) as a result of strong winds and heavy showers prevailed in .


The Police along with the personal of Colombo Municipal  Council and the Fire brigade are working to remove the tree according to the officials.

Motorists were advised to use an alternative routes when travelling .

A Person Had Drowned In Gin River

 A person had drowned and went missing whilst bathing in Gin River (Southern Province)last evening (01) according to the sources.

Another


 was also drowned but rescued by the life saving officers.Police along with the Navy and residents of the area are being  launched a joint mission to findout  the missing person who is a resident of Negambo area  the sources had stated

QR Code Introducrd For Fuel Stations Had Been Removed

With the increase of Fuel prices the National Fuel Pass  introduced to the Consumers as the QR Code had been  removed with effect from midnight last night(01) according to the Minister Of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekare .


Accordingly Public can purchase any amount of Fuel from fuel stations with the removal of the QR Code the Minister had stressed.Although the QR Code had been removed for consumers it will remain in fuel stations as a data collecting system he had stressed.

Bus Fares Increased Due To The Fuel Price Revison

 The Prices of Bus fares  had been increased by 4 percent with effect from midnight last night(01) due to the increase of Diesel price by Rs.35  according to the National Transport Commission .

However the minimum


Bus fare which is Rs.30 will not be changed and the Bus company owners have agreed for that the Commission had stated.
