A Cyclist Was Killed After Colliding With An Army Van

 A Cyclist was killed and three others were critically injured and hospitalized after an Army Van ran over them at Moratuwa area  yesterday (10).


The Army van had ran over a 58 year old Cyclist and three pedestrians who were walking on side of the road at the time of the incident iy has been reported.The deceased cyclist was a resident of Horethidu

Moratuwa police had arrested the driver of the Army van over the incident and he  is due to be produced before Moratuwa Magistrate Court .

Four Persons Injured Due To A Massive Vehicle Collsion

 

 

 Four Persons were injured two of them seriously after a Vehicle transporting Mobile cranes had collided with ten vehicles parked at the street corner in Kaleliya City on Pasyala-Meerigama road yesterday (08) The injured were hospitalized it has been reported.Update: KZN authorities probe car crash that killed 7 people | News365.co.za
 
  The Vehicle transporting Mobile cranes had collided with ten vehicles parked at the street corne veering off the road and crashed into a wall and a gate  it has been reported ,The people who were in the city at the time of the incident had fled away from the area for safety according to the Police.The Crane vehicle had collided with 08 Three w healers,A Motor car and a Motorcycle and crashed into a house wall and a gate nearby according to eyewitnesses.

NBRO Issued Landslide Warnings To Two Distrcits

 The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) had issued land slide warnings to two districts in the island due to the adverse weather condition prevailing at present ,Landslide warning remains in place for 7 districts

Accordingly NBRO had issued landslide warnings to Badulla and Ratnapura districts it has been announced.People living in mountainous and slope areas in those districts are being  advised to be vigilant on the signs of landslides the NBRO has stated.
