Two Persons Were Hospitalized With Burn Injuries Due To Vehicle Collision

 Two persons were hospitalized with burn injuries due to a Car -Three wheeler collision occurred at Dehiwala flyover bridge last evening (31).

The fire that broke out as a result of the Vehicle collision caused burn injuries to the  three wheeler driver and the Motor car driver .However the three females and two males travelled  in the Motor car at the time of the incident  had escaped after jumping out from the Car just  minutes before the fire was broken  out .

The incident occurred when the Three wheeler driver had attempted to overtake another vehicle at the Dehiwala flyover bridge .Fire brigade  attached to the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal council had doused the fire.

Four Persons Were Arrested Over Entering to An Archeological Site Illegally

Four persons including Three Army Officers and a Buddhist Monk had been arrested by the Special Police Task Force Force STF). Over entering to  an archeological site at Mawadiodal in Karadiyanaru arra of Batticaloa District (Eastern Province) illegally without a permission .

Those persons were arrested over scanning the ground of Mawadiodal area in search of Buried treassure it has been reported .

An Estate Worker Died Due To A Wasp Attack

 A 72 year old Estate worker had died and another worker had been critically injured and hospitalized  due to a  wasp attack occurred  Whilst working at the firham estate in Lindula, Thalawakale area according to Limdula Police.

The critically injured workers were admitted to Lindula Provincial Hospital where one of them had died on admission.The Other worker is currently reciving treatment  at the  Lindul hospital .

Bus Fare To Be Reduced

 The Bus fare will be reduced by 12.9 percent with effect from midnight tomorrow(30)coincided with the price reduction of fuel according to  the State minister  of Transport  Lasantha Alagiyawanna.

Accordingly the minimum Bus fare will be reduced to Rs.30 from Rs.39.
