Navy Had Arrested10 Persons With 300 KG Of Narcotics

 Sri Lanka Navy had arrested 10 Persons and recovered 300 Kilo Grammes of Narcotic believes to be Heroin during a,search operation carried out today(07).

Navy had also taken in to custody two fisheries boat during the search operation .Police Anti Nsrcotic Bureau and Special Task Force personal had assisted the Navy to carry out this,search operation

Litro Gas Increased The Prices Of LP Gas Cylinders,

 Litro Gas Company had increased the  Prices of LP Gas Cylinders With effect from yesterday(06) the Company has announced.

Accordingly the Litro Gas Company has increased the price of 12.5 KG Gas cylinder by Rs.80 ,5 KG Gas Cylinder by Rs.30 anf 2.3 KG Gas Cylinder by Rs.15 the Company has stated.With this price increase the new  price of 12.5 KG LP.Gas Cylinder wil be Rs.4360 ,5 KG LP Gas cylinder is,Rs.1750 and 2.3 KG LP Gas Cylinder will be Rs.815 the Company has stated .

The prices of LP Gas had been increased accordamce to the price mechasnism introduced to be implemented  during  the first week of every month

Cricketer Dhanushka Gunathilake Was Suspended Participating All Formats

 Sri Lanka's National Cricketer Dhanushka Gunathilake who is being charged over  raping an Australian female  was suspended from participating all formats  of Cricket with immediate effect by the Executive Board of the  Sri Lanka Cricket .He will not consider for any selections after being heard he was arrested over a sexual assault of a female in Australia Sri Lanka Cricket has stated .

Furthermore Sri Lanka Cricket will take necessary steps to Promptly carry out an Inquiry into the alleged offense and upon Conclusion of the aforementioned court case In Australia and steps will be taken to penalize the said player if Found guilty Sri Lanka Cricket has stated through the press release  issued today .

Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to emphasize that it adopts a “zero tolerance” policy for any such conduct by a player and will provide all the required support to the Australian law enforcement authorities to carry out an impartial inquiry into the incident.

Meanwhile Dhanushka Gunathilake who was arrested yesterday by the Sydney Police had been remanded until 12th of January by the Sydney High Court Today (07).Court has refused to grant him bail twice it has been reported

NBRO Issued Landslide Warnings To Five Distrcts

 The National Building Research Organization (NBRO)  had issued landslide warnings to five districts in the island amidst the heavy rail fall that is being experienced these days .

Accordingly landslide warnings had been issued to Badulla ,Kandy ,Kurunagala ,Kegalle and Monaragala Districts and the second stage Landslide warnings had been issued to Badulla(Passara) ,Kandy (Ududumabara ) and Nuwara eliya (Ambagamuwa) districts .
