Three Ships Carrying Petrol And Diesel Scheduled To Be Arrived Here Soon -LIOC
Three ships carrying stocks of Petrol and Diesel are scheduled to be arrived in Sri Lanka during this Month and first half of next month according to the Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC).
Accordingly the first ship carrying fuel scheduled to be arrived from India between 13th to 15th of July and the Second ship will arrive between 29th of July to 31st of July the LIOC had stated ,The third ship carrying fuel scheduled to be here between 10-15th of August the Company had stated .
Around 90,000 Metric tones of Petrol and Diesel(30 ,000 Metric tones each ) are scheduled to be arrived in these shipments it has been revealed ,

A 32 Year Old Female Had Committed Suicide With Her Two Children
A 32 year old female had committed suicide by jumping to the Chandrika Wewa (River) in Embilipitiya Town (Ratnapura District ) with her two children of the ages 05 and 11 years it has been reported.
The female along with her 05 year old child had died due to the incident and residents of the area had rescued the 11 year old child it has been reported .The deceased female had wrote a letter before committing suicide and according to that letter she had taken this step by stating taking medicine for a mental illness is not an easy thing to do .She believed to be taken medicine for a mental illness it has been revealed ,
Public Utilities Commission Requested LIOC For 7000 Metric Tones Of Diesel To Generate Power
Public Utilities Commission had commenced talks with Lanka Indian Oil Company authorities regarding getting 7000 Metric tones of Diesel to generate power at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
