A New Train Service From Kandy To Ella Area

 Sri Lanka Railways Department had inaugurated a new direct train service from Kandy to Ella area in Badulla (Central hills ) from today (04) In view of promoting Sri Lanka's Tourism Industry


.

Accordingly  this new train service will be departed  from Kandy Railway station daily from 7 a.m and reach Demodara Railwaya station at 2 p.m and will be departed from there again at 3.40 p.m and returned to Kandy Railway station around 9.35 p.m the Railways Department has announced .During the Journey this train will be stopped in several palaces to view mountains ,water falls and other attractive spots the department has stated .

Electricity Board To Implement An Island wide Power Cut On Saturday

 Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) had decided to implement another seven and half hour Island wide power cut tomorrow (05) as well due to the fuel shortage the Public Utilities commission has stated  .


Accordingly the  first phase of power cut will be implemented from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m and the second phase of power cut will be implemented from 4 p.m to 10,30 p.,M. the commission has revealed .

583 Corona Positives Reported For Today (04)

 A total of 583 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (04) ,Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 648,993 according to Epidemiology Unit ,


Accordingly at the ,moment 23,006 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and Under home care system the Unit has stated  ,
