Kelanithissa Power Plant Had Stopped Functions Due To Fuel Shoratge

The functioning of Kelanithissa Diesel Power Plant had completely stopped due to the shortage of Diesel it has been reported .As a result the production of electricity in the power plant had been suspended .

Due to the current power crisis Ceylon Electricity Board along with Public Utilities Commission had requested those consumers who are consuming electricity in large scale to use their own power generators in view of saving electricity ,Accordance to the Public Utilities Commission many large scale electricity consumers have responded to the request and began using the emergency power generators they have owned ,

Another 27 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (17)

The Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) has announced another 27 Corona deaths for today (17)

Accordingly the total number of Corona deaths reported so far in the country had risen to 15,926 the DGHS has stated .Majority of these deceased were over 60 years of age it has been revealed .

1235 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (17)

Another 1235 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (17) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 633,051 according to Epidemiology Unit .
