Two Who Had Been Drifted Away By Sea Waves In Neelaveli Had Been Rescued -One Person Is Missing

Two out of the three youth who were drifted away by strong sea waves whilst bathing in the sea area of Gopalapuram iu Trincomalee District (Eastern Province ) had been rescued by officers attached to Police life saving unit and Navy sea coastal force According to Kuchchaweli Police .

Divers are currently search of the missing person /The three youth who had faced this incident are members of the team attached to a private factory in Matale who arrived n ,Neelaveli for annual trip it has been revealed , day .

1217 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (16)

A total of 1217 Corona Positives had been reported today (16) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 631,816 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 18,875 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

Another 25 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (16)

Another 25 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (16) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15,899 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 20 males and 05 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 19 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .

16 Health Professions To Halt Their Trade Union Action Tomorrow (16)

Out of the seventeen Health Professions who had launched an Island Wide continuous strike since last week, Sixteen professions had decided to halt their strike action temporarily from 8 a.m tomorrow (16) The Health Professions Confederation has said .

The Union Confederation is expecting a permanent solutions for their problems from the government during next two weeks according to the joint convener of the Confederation Ravi Kumudesh.
