Bodies Of Two Out Of Three Persons Drifted Away By Waves In Kalu Ganga (River ) Had Been Found

 Three out of the four persons who had gone for a bath at Kalu Ganga (River )whilst on a Siripada pilgrimage had been drifted away by rough  waves of the river yesterday (14) at palabaddala area it has been reported .

Bodies of two Out of the three persons who had been drifted away by rough  waves had  found last night according to the police ,A twelve year old child who was among those drifted away by waves  was missing it has been reported .Authorities had launched a mission to find out the missing child .

The water  level of Kalu ganga had increased sharply during last few days due to heavy showers officials had stated .

Another 07 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (15)-DGHS

 Another 07 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (15) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15,197 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 06 males and a female had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 06 were over 60 years of age and one belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .

661 Corona Positives Reported Today (15)

 A Total of 661 Corona Positives including 04 foreign arrivals had been reported in the country today (15) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 595,657 according to Epidemiology Unit ,

At the moment 12,411 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine  Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

Only 8020 PCR Tests and 4752 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (14) according to Health Promotions Bureau .

Petroleum Corporation To Supply 1500 Metric Tones Of Diesel Daily To Electricity Board From Today (14)

 Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) had taken steps to supply 1500 metric tones of Diesel daily  to Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) from today (14) until nest Tuesday (18) to start the functioning of inactive power plants belongs to  CEB .

On next Tuesday a discussion will be held between officials of CPC and CEB to decide the next step need to be taken to  activate  the power plants continuously   it has been reported .

Meanwhile Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has stated that it couldn't supply diesel to Electricity Board under a  loan scheme anymore .

 A Total of 677 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (14) Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported  so far to 594,996 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 11,935 Corona positives are being treated at Quarantine Centers /Hospitals and under home care system the unit has stated .

Another 171 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals today increasing the total number of Corona Positives recovered and discharged so far to 567,871 it has been reported .
