Colombo Crimes Division Arrested The Chief Engineer /MD Of A Private Airlines Company Over Crashing A Flight Whilst Landing

 Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) had arrested the Chief Engineer and the Managing Director of the private Airline Company "Sakurai "yesterday (20)  over sudden landing of their flight to  Kimbulapaitiya in Negambo area  (Western Province )few days back which lead to  an accident injuring two pilots of the flight and a foreign couple on board .

The sudden landing of the light aircraft  which was travelling to Koggala .Galle District from Colombo had caused injuries to a Lebanese couple on board and the  two pilots of the aircraft it has been reported ,

Colombo Crimes Division is currently investigating on the incident further ,

461 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (10)

 A total of 461 Corona  Positives had been reported in the country today (10) according to Epidemiology Unit ,With these positives the total number of Corona Positives reported so far in the country had risen to 592,128 the Unit has stated ,

At the moment 9768 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system it has been reported ,A total of 567,226 Corona positives in the country had been recovered and discharged up to date it has been revealed .

15 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (10)-DGHS

 Another 15 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (10) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15,134 the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) has announced .

Accordingly 08 males and 07 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 09 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to 30-60 age group .One of the deceased was under 30 years old it has been revealed .

Public Utilities Commission Had Given Permission To Electricity Board To Impose Power Cuts

 Public Utilities Commission  had given permission to Ceylon Electricity Board t(CEB)o impose power cuts as required with effect from tomorrow (10) it has been announced .

This permission was given by the commission after considering a petition submitted by the Ceylon Electricity Board seeking permission to impose island wide power cuts   due to the fuel shortage faced by the Board and breaking down of a machine at Norochchalai Power plant the CEB has stated .

However CEB has decided to impose Island wide power cuts when a need arise it has been announced.
