A total of 479 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (28) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 584,586 according to Epidemiology Unit .
Another 22 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (28) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths that had been reported so far to 14,923 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS ) .
Accordingly 12 males and 10 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 15 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .One of the deceased was under 30 years old.

මෙරට දෛනිකව සිදු කෙරෙන කොරෝනා පරීක්ෂණ සංඛ්‍යාව අනුව වාර්තා වන ආසාදිතයන්ගේ සංඛ්‍යාව සසඳා කොරෝනා වසංගතයේ තත්ත්වය තීරණය කළ යුතු වුවද දැන් සිදු කරනුයේ අඩු පරීක්ෂණ සංඛ්‍යාවකින් අඩු ආසාදිතයන් සංඛ්‍යාවක් වාර්තා වීමේ තත්ත්වයකි .,වසංගතය පිළිබඳ සත්‍ය තොරතුරැ මහජනතාවට සඟවා එය පාලනය කිරීම අසීරු කාර්යයක් බව බොහෝ දෙනා අමතක කර තිබීම කණගාටුවට කරුණකි .යාබද ඉන්දියාවෙන් පළමු ඔමික්‍රෝන් ආසාදිතයා වාර්තා වුයේද ශ්‍රී ලංකාවෙන් ප්‍රථම එම ආසාදිතයා වාර්තා වූ කාලයේදීම වුවද මේ වන විට එරටින් වාර්තා වී ඇති එම වෛරස් ප්‍රභේදය ආසාදනය වුවන්ගේ සංඛ්‍යාව 600 ද ඉක්මවා ගොස් තිබේ .දෛනිකව එම සංඛ්‍යාව වැඩි වෙමින් පැවතියදී බලධාරීන්ට අනුව මෙරට තවමත් සිටිනුයේ සති කිහිපයකට පෙර හඳුනාගත් ලැව් ගින්නක් සේ ශීඝ්‍රයෙන් පැතිරෙන ඔමික්‍රෝන් වෛරස් ප්‍රභේදය ආසාදනය වු ආසාදිතයන් 07 දෙනා පමණකි .
Four persons including a newly wed Lebanese couple had been injured and hospitalized after the Private Aircraft they were travelling in has made an emergency landing at Kimbulapitiya ,Negambo (Western Province ) this afternoon (27).
Two pilots were among those injured and the Aircraft belongs to Sakura Airlines were flying from Sigiriya to Koggala area at the time of the incident it has been reported ,Sri Lanka Airforce had used a 20 member team for rescue efforts ,
Meanwhile the Civil Aviation Authority had suspended all flight of the Sakurai Airlines until further notice .
