Only A Single Batch Of 458 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (27)

 Again health authorities had announced only a single batch of 458 Corona positives identified through PCR and Rapid Antigen tests for today (27).

Accordingly the total number of Corona Positives reported so far from the country had risen to 584.107 the Epidemiology Unit has stated .At the moment 9522 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has announced ,

17 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (27)

 Another 17 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (27) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths that had been reported so far to 14,901 according to Director General Of Health Services(DGHS).

Accordingly 11 males and 06 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 10 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to 30-60 year age group .One of the deceased was under 30 years old it has been revealed .

Nearly 12 Gas Cooker Explosions Reported Today (26)

Nearly 12 Gas Coker explosions related to Gas cylinders had been occurred during  past 24 hours ended this evening (26) according to Police Headquarters .

These incidents were reported from areas including Badalkumbura ,Madagama ,Bandarawela ,Lunugala,Pallekiruwa ,Haputhale ,Hatton ,Vavuniya ,Sinnakulma areas it has been revealed ,Gas cookers had been completely destroyed due to these explosions according to reports .

 A total of 398 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (26) in the first phase ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 583,649 according to Epidemiology Unit .

However the number of Corona positives reported under the second phase not yet been announced .

At the moment there are 9,329 Corona Positives receiving treatment at hospitals ,quarantine centers and under home care system the Epidemiology Unit has stated ,

However only 5886 "PCR " Tests and 2824 Rapid Antigen Tests had  been performed in the country yesterday (25) according to Health Promotions Bureau .
