Nearly 12 Gas Coker explosions related to Gas cylinders had been occurred during past 24 hours ended this evening (26) according to Police Headquarters .

These incidents were reported from areas including Badalkumbura ,Madagama ,Bandarawela ,Lunugala,Pallekiruwa ,Haputhale ,Hatton ,Vavuniya ,Sinnakulma areas it has been revealed ,Gas cookers had been completely destroyed due to these explosions according to reports .

398 Corona Positives Had Been Reported In The First Phase Today (26)

A total of 398 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (26) in the first phase ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 583,649 according to Epidemiology Unit .

However the number of Corona positives reported under the second phase not yet been announced .

At the moment there are 9,329 Corona Positives receiving treatment at hospitals ,quarantine centers and under home care system the Epidemiology Unit has stated ,

However only 5886 "PCR " Tests and 2824 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (25) according to Health Promotions Bureau .

Another 13 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (26)

Another 13 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (26) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths that had been reported so far to 14,884 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 09 males and 04 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 09 were over 60 years of age and 04 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years it has been revealed .

An Urgent Water Cut Imposed In 09 Areas At Colombo Distrcit Without A Prior Notice

An urgent 12 hour water cut had been imposed by the National Water Supplies and Drainage Board two hours ago at 09 areas in Colombo District without a prior notice due to a sudden power failure .

Accordingly this water cut had been imposed in Kotte,Kaduwela ,Dehiwala ,Mount Lavinia ,Maharagama ,Boralesgamuwa ,Kolonnawa ,Kotikawatte and Mulleriyawa areas with effect from 9.30 p.m tonight the board has announced .
