Another 278 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and quarantine centers today (25) according to Epidemiology Unit ,

With this the total number of Corona Positives that had been recovered and discharged so far had risen to 559,128 the Unit has stated ,

Around 1000 Food Containers Are Being Stucked At Colombo Harbor Due To Dollar Shortage

Around 1000 Containers containing imported essential commodities are being Stucked at Colombo Harbor due to the Dollar shortage in the country according to Importers .

Accordingly these Containers contains essential commodities including sugar ,Coriander ,Big anions ,Potatoes ,Sprats ,Dried fish and other ingredients and some of these food items are nearing to expire they have stated .

Although Government had promised to issue US Dollars to release these containers from the harbor still not been able to issue them as promised Importers have further stated

Another 529 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (25)-Corona Tests Further Reduced

A total of 529 Corona positives had been reported today (25) in the country as the number of PCR and Rapid Antigen tests perform daily in the island has been furthrt reduced according to Health Ministry sources .

With this number the total number of Corona positives had risen to 583,251 the sources had stated .

At the moment 9252 Corona positives are being treated at hospitals ,Quarantine centers and under home care system it has been reported .

Another 19 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (25)

Another 19 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (25) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,871 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 12 females and 07 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .

Out of the deceased 16 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .One of the deceased was under 30 years old .
