573 Corona Positives Had Been Reported In The Country Today (24)

The Government Information Department has only announced the number of Corona Positives reported under the first phase this evening and accordingly 573 Corona Positives had been reported in the country so far for today (24) .


With this number the total number of Corona Positives reported in the country so far had risen to 582,722 it has been reported .

323 Corona Positives Had Been Recovered And Discharged Today (24)

 Another 323 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals today (24) according to Epidemiology Unit .


Accordingly the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged so far had risen to 558,850 the Unit has stated .

20 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (24)

 Another 20 Corona deaths had been reported today (13) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,852 According to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS)..


Accordingly 12 males and 08 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .

Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years of age it has been revealed .

Ministry Of Finance To Issue Licences For Three Liquor Manufacturing Plants

 The Ministry of Finance is to issue licences to three Large scale Businessmen in the country to start 03 Liquor Manufacturing plants it has been reported .


Accordingly these  liquor licences are scheduled to be issued before end of this month .

At the moment Sri Lanka has around 25 liquor manufacturing plants it has been revealed .
