World's Single Largest Blue Sapphire Gem Stone Had Found In Sri Lanka

 World's largest  Blue sapphire gem stone weighing 310 Kilo Grammes had been recovered in a Gem mine at Balangoda area according to Reports .


It's world's largest single natural corundum and named as "Queen Of Asia ".The 15 million Carrot Gem stone is owned by Chamila Suranga who is a director of a Gem Research Institute  at Ratahnapura and resides in  Horana area. He hopes  to sell the stone to a country which can store it at a Museum .

Around 10,000 Chicken Had Died Due To A Fire At Poultry Farm

Around 10,000 chicken had  died due to burn injuries as a result of the  fire occurred at  a poultry farm in  Kotadeniyawa area (Western Province ) today (11) it has been reported .


The fire at the poultry farm  occurred as a result of a current leak  and the fire brigade in Negambo area had doused the fire according to reports ,

Kotadeniyawa Police are currently investigating on this unfortunate incident ,
