State Ministry Of Pharmaceuticals Announced Controlled Prices For 60 Drugs
The State Ministry of Pharmaceutical Production, Supplies and Regulations had today (17) announced Controlled price for 60 essential Drug items available in the local market.
Accordingly controlled prices of 60 drug items including Paracetamol Tablets ,Diabetese ,High Pressure ,Cholesterol drugs and Cephalexin injection had been announced .Public can complain on the phsrmacies which are not selling these drugs for controlled prices to complaints @nmra.gov.lk according to the state ministry .
23 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (17)
Another 23 Corona Deaths had been reported in the country today (17) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,057 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).
Accordingly 13 males and 10 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS Has stated .Out of the deceased 21 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .
Another 728 Corona Positives Had Been Reported In The Country Today (17)
A total number of 728 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (16) Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 553,722 according to Epidemiology Unit .
At the moment 14,477 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .
Only 5307 PCR Tests and 2966 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (16) according to Health Promotions Bureau .
