570 Coeona Positives Reorted today (18)

 A Total of 570 Corona positives had been reported today (18) increasing the total number of Corona positives that had been reported so far to 532,218 the Epidemiology Unit has stated .

At the moment 25,736 Corona Positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

Another 354 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals today  increasing the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged from hospitals so far to 492,975 .

23 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (18)

 Another 23 Corona deaths had been reported today (18) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,507 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 13 females and 10 males had died due to Corona infection today the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 21 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .

Graduate Trainees To Be Recruited For Schools Scheduled To Be Opened From 21st

The Ministry of Public Administration has advised the all  Divisional Secretariats in the Island to recruit Graduate Trainees attached  to the Secretariats   to schools scheduled to be started from 21st of October as Strike of Teachers and Principals   still goes on .

All provincial Councils had decided to open all Schools with less than 200 students which were closed due to Corona pandemic from 21st of October ,

Many Had Visited Ella Area During The Weekend By Violating Inter Provincial Travel Restrictions

Although President has advised the Authorities to strictly enforced the Current Inter Provincial Restrictions until 21st of October ,Many people had arrived in Ella tourist zone in Badulla District today (17) from Different parts of the country by violating the restrictions   it has been reported .
