Government Decided To Abolish Gazette Notification On Controlling Rice Prices
Government ha d decided today (27) to remove the Price control mechanism imposed on retails and wholesale prices of Rice and abolish the Gazette notification issued in this regard with immediate effect.
Cabinet has also approved a proposal to import 100,000 metric tones of Rice to avoid the increasing of Rice prices in the local market .

51 Corona Deaths Reported Today (27)
A Total of 51 Corona deaths had been reported in the Country today (27) increasing the total number of Corona deaths Reported so far to 12,731 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .
Accordingly 29 males and 22 females had died due to Corona infection DGHS has stated .
Out of the deceased 41 were over 60 years of age and 10 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years it has been reported .

Accordingly 46,517 Corona positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated ,
Another 812 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals today according to Epidemiology Unit ,

Government To Decide Whether To Increase The Prices Of Milk Powder ,Cement ,Gas And Wheat Flour Tomorrow (27),
Government is scheduled to decide whether to increase the Prices of Milk Powder ,Cement , Gas and Wheat Flour as requested by the importers ,During tomorrow's (27) Cabinet meeting
Accordingly the Consumer Affairs Authority has already given approval to Increase the price of aa Kilo Gramme of Milk Powder by Rs.200. The price of Cement By Rs.50 ,The price of Domestic Gas Cylinder by Rs.550 ,and the price of a one kilo of Wheat flour by Rs.10 it has been revealed ,
The Cost of Living Committee which met last Friday had prepared a report on the Consumer Affairs authority's recommendations over the increasing prices of above goods The report of the Committee is due to be presented to the Cabinet meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow .
