Sri Lanka Had Yesterday (28) Received 100,000 Doses Of "Pfizer " Vaccines Under Covax " Facility

Sri Lanka has received another 100,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine yesterday (28) under the "Covax "Facility of the World Health Organization (WHO) to vaccinate sri lankan groups at risk .This stock of "Pfizer " vaccines was donated by the American government ,

The stock of "Pfizer " vaccine doses arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday were handed over to t he Health minister Keheliya Rambukwella by the World Health Organization officials here ,

4,612 Corona Positives and 192 Corona deaths Reported Today (29)

Another 4,612 Corona Positives and 192 Corona deaths had been reported today (29) in the country according to Health Authorities .

Accordingly the total number of Corona Positives reported so far in the country had been increased to 426,169 authorities have stated ,The total number of Corona deaths reported so far had been increased to 8775 it has been revealed .

Accordingly 109 males and 83 females had died due to corona infection . Out of the deceased 156 were over 60 years of age and there were 39 persons belonged to 30-59 age group ,

4582 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (28)

A total of 4582 Corona positives had been reported yesterday (28) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 421 ,557 according to the Epidemiology Unit ,

At the moment 55,376 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and quarantine centers .

212 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (28)

Another 212 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (28) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far in the country to 8583 according to Director General Of Health Services .

Accordingly 109 Females and 103 males had died due to Corona infection yesterday (28) .Out of the deceased 173 were over the age of 60 years and 37 were belonged to 30-60 year age group ,Two of the deceased were under 30 years of age it has been revealed ,
