All Island Quarantine Curfew Had Been Extended Until 06th Of September

 The Island Wide quarantine Curfew imposed at present has been extended until 06 th of September in view of controlling the spreading of Corona virus according to the authorities ,Accordingly the Island wide quarantine curfew will be extended until i 4 a.m on 06th of September ,

This decision to extend the quarantine curfew from a week has neem taken during the meeting of   Covid Control Special Task force held today under the patronage of President Gotabay Rajapakshe it has been reported ,

4561 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (27)

 A total of 4561 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (27) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 416,961 according to Ministry of Health ,

At the moment 55,399 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Quarantine Centers it has been revealed ,

Meanwhile 2122 Corona positives had recovered and discharged from Hospitals and Quarantine Centers today increasing the total number of Corona positives recovered and  discharged so far to 353 ,191 it has been revealed ,

214 Corona Deaths Reported Today (27)

Another 214 Corona deaths had been reported today (27) increasing the total number of  Corona deaths reported so far to 8371 According to Director General Of Health Services ,

Accordingly 120 males and 94 females had died due to Corona infection today .Out of the deceased Out of the deceased 151 were over 60 years of age and there were 58 persons belonged to 30-59 age group and 05 were under 30 years old it has been revealed ,

A Doctor And A Family Health Officer Had Been Transferred Over Vaccinating A 12 Year Old Girl With Corona Vaccine "Pfizer "

 The doctor in charge of The Corona vaccination center at Kokkavil Primary Collage in Chilaw,Puttalam District (North Western Province ) and Family Health Officer attached to the Vaccination Center had been transferred to the Corona Treatment Center at Puttalam Base Hospital today (26) with immediate effect by the health authorities  over injecting  a "Pfizer " Ani Corona vaccine dose to a 12 year old girl by violating the Corona vaccination policy. .

Although Ministry of Health has not yet been  approved to vaccinate those who are under 18 years of age  .the Doctor in charge of the vaccination center had vaccinate  his 12 year old daughter it has been revealed

Soon after revealing on the incident the Health authorities in Puttalam District had transferred the Doctor and the family health officer who had supported the doctor to vaccinate his daughter according to reports ,
