Another 167 Corona deaths had been reported today (16) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 6263 According to Director General Of Health Services ,

Government has decided to impose a daily night time quarantine Curfew from 10 p.m to 4 a.m nest day with effect from tonight (16) in view of curbing the surge of Corona infections in the country ,
This night curfew will be imposed from today until further notice .Meanwhile government authorities have said that the night curfew is being imposed to prevent holding parties and functions which had been identified as Corona hotspots .
Many shops in certain areas had been closed down by the owners voluntarily in view of the current corona pandemic it has been reported .During last few days shops at Ambantrhota and few other areas had been closed and the shops at Gampaha town also closed from today .and Tomorrow all shops in yakkla are due to close down
All shops in Kappeitipola area had been also close down today .
Another 161 Corona deaths and 3435 Corona positives has been reported today (15) in the country according to Director General Of Health Services .
Accordingly with the number of Corona deaths reported today in the country the total number of Corona deaths reported so far has been increased to 6096 and the total number of Corona positives reported so far had been increased to 354 ,968 it has been revealed .
Out of the deceased 83 were males and 78 were females .122 out of the total number of persons died from Corona infection today were of the ages over 60 years .
At the moment 39,301 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers. .
Another 3245 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (14) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 351,533 according to Director General Of Health Services .
At the moment 38,413 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers.
So far 307,345 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals ,
