74 Corona Deaths Reported Today (03)

 A Total of 74 Corona deaths had been reported today (03) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported in the country to 4645 according to Director General Of  Health Services ,This is the highest number of corona deaths reported in Sri Lanka on a single day according to health Ministry ,

Out of the deceased 48 were males and 26 were females it has been revealed ,56 of the deceased were over 60 years old and 17 were of the ages 30-59 according to reports .One of the deceased was less than  20 years old .

 

2423 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (03)

Another 2423 Corona positives had been reported today (03) increasing the total number of Corona positives  reported  so far to 316,219 according to Director General Of Health Services ,

At the moment 28,878 Corona Positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Treatment centers ,

Many Government Employees Didnt Report To Work Today Although Government Has Requested To Do So

 Although Government had directed all Government employees to return to work from Today (02) amidst the surge of daily  Corona infections in the country many employees in government institutions including health employees didnt report to work it has been reported ,

For the convenience of the Government employees to return to work government has launched inter provincial Bus and train services as well ,however the turnout is very low according to officials ,

Meanwhile Health Trade Unions had opposed the government 's decision to bring all Government employees back to work amidst Corona pandemic  and requested the government to cancel the circular issued in this regard with immediate effect ,

Although the Ministry OF Education had requested all teachers and principals to return to work from today ,they didn't come under the influence of teachers unions ,

2382 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (02)

 A total of 2382 Corona Positives had been reported today (02) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 313,769 according to the Director General Of Health Services ,

At the moment 28,393 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Quarantine Centers it has been reported ,

Meanwhile 1958 Corona positives had been fully recovered and discharged from government hospitals and quarantine centers today increasing the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged from hospitals so far to 280,868 the Epidemiology Unit .,

63 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (02)

 Another 53 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (02) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 4571 according to the Director General of Health Services

.Out of the deceased 36 were males and 27 were females it has been raveled ,Accordingly 46 of the deceased were over 60 years old and 17 were belonged to the 30-60 age group.
