Another 67 Corona deaths had been reported today (01) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 4508 according to the Director General Of Health Services ,Accordingly 35 males and 31 females had died due to Corona infection it has been announced .
Out of the deceased 56 were over 60 years old and 10 were of the age group 30-60 it has been reported One was under 30 years old .
Minister Of Power and Energy Dallas Alahpperuma is currently under quarantine at his house in Colombo after two members of his staff had been tested positive for Corona virus .The Ministry premises too had been shut down since last Monday and after being disinfected it has been opened today ,\\
She has died after the Van she was travelling in from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo after a Tele drama shooting had fallen in to a 200 feet deep precipice at Lindula area according to reports ,
The driver of Van had been arrested by the Police over the incident and he had been later remanded after producing before the court until 03rd of August ,
The questions risen after her sudden demise are As an elderly person why she had travelled so far for a Teledrama shooting amidst Corona pandemic and at a time Inter Provincial restrictions are enforced . Law should be equal to all.
