Those Who Had Obtained Visas For Jobs In 15 Countries To Be Vaccinated With "Pfizer "Vaccine

Those who had been obtained visas to go to foreign employment in 15 Middle eastern and Asian countries will be vaccinated with "Pfizer "Vaccine as those countries are only recognized that vaccine ,before leaving for employment according to Minister Of Labour Nimal Siripala De Silva ,

Minister Silva had made these remarks after holding talks with Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi and Health Ministry Officials regarding giving the vaccine to those who are expecting to leave for employment in those countries ,Accordingly they will be received the first dose of "Pfizer " vaccine in Colombo during next week and later the second dose Minister has stated '

These employment holders are due to leave abroad within next two months after receiving both doses of the "Pfizer "vaccine he has stressed ,

42 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (22)

Another 42 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (22) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 3.959 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center.

Accordingly 25 males and 17 females had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications related to non communicable diseases they have suffered from it has been revealed ,

Out of the deceased 35 persons were of the ages over 60 years it has been revealed ,

1714 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (22)

A Total of 1714 Corona Positives had been reported in the island today (22) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so fat to 291,298 according to National Covid-19 Prevention Center ,

At the moment 22.646 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers .
