A Corona death had been reported today (14) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far in the country to 527 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
Accordingly a 73 year old male resided at Weligama in Mara District had died due to the Multi organ failure ,Septacemia and Covid Pneumonia the Center had stated .
A total of 282 Corona Positives had been reported today (14)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 87,907 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
Accordingly these Corona positives had been reported from several Corona clusters identified in the country earlier .
At the moment 2732 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Treatment centers .
All shops and businesses at Morawaka town in Galle District (Southern province ) had been shut down until this Wednesday (17)after identifying 51 Corona Positives from the town within a day according to Morawaka MOH authorities .
These positives were identified through 333 "PCR "Tests conducted in the area it has been reported .
Meanwhile authorities are appealing to the public to refrain from visiting Morawaka town these days .
