Three Persons Were Arrested In Possession Of 10.5 Kilo Grammes Of Kerala Cannabis And Ice

 Police officers attached to Crimes Investigations division of the Mount Lavinia Police had  today (03)arrested three persons in possession of 10 Kilos of Kerala Canabies and 50 grammes of 'Ice "narcotic according to ,police .

Accordingly police had arrested the three suspects who are residents of Hadigama ,Piliyandala area and of the ages 35,40 and 38 years at Hadigama  area .The suspects had purchase this stock of Narcotics from a female at Wanathamulla in Borella area .

The estimated value of the stock of Narcotics taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is Rs.1.6 million .

Total Number Of Corona Positives In The Country Increased To 84,075

 A total of 317 Corona positives had been reported yesterday (02) and 205 Corona positives had been reported this evening (03),increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 84,075 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly all these positives were contacts of the Corona positives reported from.several Corona clusters in the country previously the Center has stated .

At the moment  3155 Corona Positives are being treated at government hospitals and Quarantine centers  it has been revealed .

Seven Corona Deaths Reported Today (02)

 Another 07 Corona deaths had bern reported in the country today (02),increasing the total number Corona deaths reported so far to 483 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 04 females and 03 Males resided in Colombo --15,Colombo -05 ,,Colombo -15,Piliyandala ,Pilimathalawa and Galewela areas had died due to the complications of Non communicable diseases they have suffered from as a result of the Corona infection. The deceased were of the ages 87,89,,78,73 63,63 and 63 years .

Again Health Officials Not Prioritise Over 60 Age Group When Administering Corona Vaccines

 Again Some Health Officials attached to the Ministry Of Health had  taken a wrong decision under the Political influence to vaccinate those of the ages over 30 in Risk Areas of Western province with the limited Number of Vaccines available although over 60 age group is the highest risk group can be exposed  to Corona virus  in the country .

As these vaccination centers are  administering Corona vaccines for the over 30 age group most people of the ages 30-60 are seen in long Queues at Centers during last few days to get the vaccine  blocking the way for over 60 age group .Only few Centers in Colombo  and Gampaha districts are being functioned proritising over 60 age group  when  administering Corona vaccines..

Isolation Of Five Roads In Katthankudy MOH Area Had Bern Lifted

 The isolation of five toads belonging to Katthankudy MOH area at Batticaloa District had been lifted since 5 a.m yesterday (01)morning according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly isolation of  five Roads in Katthankudy MOH area including Gafrror Street and Telecom.Riad -First Cross street isolated sometime back to prevent the spreading of Corona virus had been lifted last morning the Center has stated .
