A Corona Death Was Reported Yesterday (26)

 A Corona death has been reported yesterday (26), raising the Total number of Corona deaths in the country to 288 according to the  Director General Of Health Services Dr.Asela Gunawardana .


Accordingly a 71 year old female resided in Ragama had died due to the Covid Pneumonia,Septacemia and shock syndrome caused by Corona Infection. .

The deceased had bern identified as a Corona positive whilst at Welisara Chest hospital  ,



 

State Minister. Of Coconut Arundhika Fernando Had Been Tested Positive For Corona Virus

Stars Minister Of Coconut ,Kithul Palmyrah Promotion and Rubber Cultivation Arundhika Fernando had been  tested positive for Coronafkfr virus it has been announced today (27)..


He was earlier tested negative for virus when the "PCR "tests had been carried out for Parliamentary  staff including MPs .at Parliamentary premises .

State Minister Fernando is  the  07 th Parliamentarian that had been tested positive for Corona virus .

Tracing  of Close contacts of. the State Minister Fernando is  currently underway in both at the parliament and  outside it has been revealed Corona positive state Minister is scheduled to be admitted to a quarantine hotel for treatment . He has been participated many functions and meetings recently

748 Corona Positives Reported Today (26)

 A total of 748 Corona Positives had been reported today (26),increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far in the country to 59,922 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center  


Accordingly tauthorities had again stated that all these Corona positives reported today were contacts of previous Corona positives reported from. Minuwangoda ,Psliyagoda and Prisons Corona clusters .However Medical circles had revealed that there are many Corona positives reported from.an unknown clusters .

At the moment 8588 Corona  positives are being  tresaed at Government hospitals and treatment centers
