Four Persons At A Food Store In Pettah Tested Positive For Corona Virus
Fout persons attached to a Food Store at 04 th cross street in Pettah (Colombo )had been tested positive for Corona virus on Momday (19).
Due to this 35 workers attached to the food store had been sent to quarantine centers for quarantine. .
"PCR "tests had been carried out on these employees as a contact of a Brsndix Corona cluster is working there it has been revealed .
SP Attached. To Colombo Fort Police Station Tested Positive For Corona Virus
A Superintendent of Police (SP) attached to the Special Investigations Unit of the Colombo Fort police station had been tested positive for Corona virus today (20) according to sources .
The SP had been hospitalized and s group of Police officers attached to Fort police station had been sent to a quarantine Center for quarantine .
Tracing of contacts of the SP is underway it had been revealed
180 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (20)
A total of 180 Corona positives had been reported in the Country today (20)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 5811 according to Epidemiology Unit .
Accordingly all the positives reported today are linked to the Brsndix Corona Cluster in Minuwangoda area and Two factories at Katunayake free trade zone .
Out of the positives reported today 37 were from Quarantine centers ,83 were their close contacts and 35 were attached to two factories in Katunayake Free Trade Zone .
87 Corona positives had been reported in the country yesterday (19).
