Police Curfew Has Been Imposed In Three Police Divisions In Gampaha District After A Local Corona Positive Reported From The District


A female Supervisor attached to a Garment Factory owns by Brandix Group had tested positive for Corona virus yesterday (03) after she had been hospitalized for respiratory problem .Accordingly the corona positive female supervisor had taken medicine for her illness from a private dispensary on 28th of September and afterwards admitted to Gampaha Base Hospital for further treatment .

Through  the "PCR" test performed on her at the hospital she had been identified as a Corona positive it had been reported .Meanwhile the 16 year old daughter of the new local Corona positive had also tested positive for Corona Virus today and both Mother and daughter had been admitted to Infectious Diseases Hospital at Angoda for treatment . 

five close relatives of the Corona positive female  supervisor had been sent to Quarantine center at Habaraduwa and many contacts of her at her work place too under quarantine it has been announced , 

Meanwhile  Police have this morning (04)imposed curfew in Divulapitiya and Minuwangoda Police Divisions at Gampaha District (Western Province ) until further notice after reporting the new Corona case and later the curfew has been extended to Veyangoda area the Police have announced ,

Accordingly during the curfew public in these three  areas are being requested to stay  at home and entering  ,leaving and walking across through these police divisions are being  banned until further notice according to the Acting Inspector General Of Police (IGP) Chandana EWikaramaratne .

Police have advised the Public in the country to adapt Anti Corona Health Guide lines further due to the current situation ,

Nine Corona positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitls Today (03)

 A total of 09 Corona  positives had been discharged today (03) from hospitals after full recovery
according to Epidemiology Unit ,Accordingly these 09 Corona positives had been discharged from Infectious Diseases Hospital at Angoda,Hambanthota base ,Iranawila and Mulleriyawa hospitals ,

The total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals so far after full recovery had now risen to  to 3254 the unit has stated .

At the moment the total number of Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals is 128.

Ten Breast Cancer Cases Reported In Sri Lanka Daily

Around 10 persons infected with BreaSt
Cancer and around 02 BreaSt Cancer deaths  are being reported daily in Sri Lanka according to the community physician attached to National Cancer Control Programme Dr.Suraj  Perera.

There's a slight increase in BreaSt Cancer cases reported in Sri Lanka since few years as 24 percent of the cancers females are being infected globally is BreaSt Cancer and  in Sri Lanka 26 percent of cancers that are being  infected among females annually  is BreaSt Cancer he has stated.

Around 3500 Breast cancer cases are being reported from Sri Lanka annually and there are 700 deaths related to the cancer Dr.perera has stressed during the press briefing held at Health Promotions Bureau yesterday  (02).

Accordingly Corona positives treated in Infectious Diseases Hospital in Angoda and Iranawila and Welikanda Base hospitals had been discharged from hospitals yesterday ,increasing the total number of Positives discharged from hospitals up to now to 3245 .
