Eight Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (10)

A total of 08 Corona positives had been
reported yesterday (10)in the country ncreasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 3155 according to  Epidemeology Unit .

37 Prison Inmates At Bussa Prison Had Launched A Hunger Strike Since Last Morning (10)

The hunger strike launched by 37
prison inmates at Boossa Prison Camp in Galle last morning (10)over several  demands  is being continued according to prison sources. 

The 37 prison inmates who are on hunger strike demanding to stop searching prison premises ,stop searching guests who are visiting prisons inmates and lift the ban imposed over inmates  contacting their close associates through the phone  according to sources. 


However Prisons Commissioner General Thushara Upul Deniya has stated that solutions will be provided for fair demands of prison inmates if there  are any .

A 16 Year Old School Boy Had Died Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

A 16 year old School boy has died due
to a Wild Elephant attack at Pahalarathkinda area in Gitandurukotte area last night  (10).

The deceased was a resident of Pahalarathkinda area,Gitandurukotte. The post mortem and magisterial inquiry of the death is schedule to  conduct today(11).  

Another 472 Sri Lankans Stranded In UAE And Qatar Had Arrived Sri Lanka

A total of 472 Sri Lankans stranded in
United Arab Emirates and Qatar due to corona pandamic had arrived in Katunayake International Airport through two flights this morning (11).

Accordingly 450 Sri Lankans stranded in United Arab Emirates had arrived from Dubai and another 22 Sri Lankans stranded in Qatar Had arrived from Doha, this morning.

Twenty Families In Baduraliya Area Removed Due To A Landslide Risk

Authorities have removed 50 persons
