Six More Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (16)

A total of 06 Corona positives had

beedischarged from hospitals today  (16)after fully recovered according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged from hospitals so far has been increased to 2007 the unit has stared.

Up to this morning 130,390 "PCR "tests had been performed  in the country to identify Corona positives .

Sixteen Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (16)

A total of 16 corona positives had been

reported in the country today (16)until 11 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 2687 according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Out of these Corona positives 09 Were relatives of the Instructors belonging to the Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center Corona cluster and among others were 04 Sri Lankan arrivals from Qatar and 03  were arrivals from United Arab Emirates.

At the moment 669 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals it has been reported .

Cabinet Has Decided To Allow Public To Pay February Electricity Bill Amount For Electricity Bills Of March,April And May As A Concessions

Government has yesterday (15) decided

to allow public to pay the amount paid for  the Electricity bill of  February for the Electricity bills issued for March, April and May during the Curfew period according to the Minister of Power and Energy Mahinda Amaraweera .

Cabinet has also decided to give a two month grace period to pay these Electricity bills and advise Ceylon Electricity Board not to disconnect electricity during that period for late payments The Minister has stressed .

Government is scheduled to be issued Rs.300 million to the Electricity Board to provide this Electricity bill concession for the public he has stated. 

Number Of Sri Lankan Corona Positives Recovered And Discharged From Hospitals Increased To 2001

The total number of Corona positives

recovered and discharged from hospitals in the country had been increased to 2001 yesterday (15) after 13 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals yesterday.

Now almost 75 percent of the Corona positives reported from the country had been recovered and discharged from hospitals according to the Health Promotions Bureau.

The number of "PCR "tests performes  daily has been incresed to 2000 on Tuesday  (14) and 2288 Tests had been performed that day and 2470 tests yesterday according to the Bureau .
