Government has yesterday (15) decided
to allow public to pay the amount paid for the Electricity bill of February for the Electricity bills issued for March, April and May during the Curfew period according to the Minister of Power and Energy Mahinda Amaraweera .
Cabinet has also decided to give a two month grace period to pay these Electricity bills and advise Ceylon Electricity Board not to disconnect electricity during that period for late payments The Minister has stressed .
Government is scheduled to be issued Rs.300 million to the Electricity Board to provide this Electricity bill concession for the public he has stated.
