Number Of Sri Lankan Corona Positives Recovered And Discharged From Hospitals Increased To 2001

The total number of Corona positives
recovered and discharged from hospitals in the country had been increased to 2001 yesterday (15) after 13 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals yesterday.

Now almost 75 percent of the Corona positives reported from the country had been recovered and discharged from hospitals according to the Health Promotions Bureau.

The number of "PCR "tests performes  daily has been incresed to 2000 on Tuesday  (14) and 2288 Tests had been performed that day and 2470 tests yesterday according to the Bureau .

Six Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (15)

A total of 06 Corona positives had been
reported yesterday  (15) in the current try  ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 2671 according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 04 arrivals from Qatar, An arrival From United Arab Emirates and a close contact of a Corona positive identified from the Kandakadu Corona cluster ,Who is under quarantine at a Quarantine Center at Kundasale area had tested positive for the Corona Virus yesterday.

At the moment 659 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

Health Authorities Had Shutdown Browns Hospital In Ragama Due To A Member Of Kandakadu Corona Cluster

Health Authorities had shutdown down
the Browns private hospital at Ragama (North Colombo)with immediate effect on Tuesday (14) after a manager attached to the  hospital had tested positive for Corona virus .

The Corona positive had visited Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center where the new Corona cluster has been emerged ,as an instructor it has been revealed .

Some Hospital workers attached to the Browns Hospital who were close to the Corona positive manager are being self quarantined it has been reported.
