28 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged Today(22) Afrer Full Recovery

A total of 28 Corona positives had been
discharged from hospitals today (22)after full recovery ,increasing the total number of Corona  positives discharged from hospitals to 1526 according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly  414 Corona positives and 31suspected as infected with corona virus are being currently treated in Government Hospitals .

Sri lanka's recovery rate of Corona positives is 78.22 percent according to Health Promotions Bureau.


One Imported Corona Positive Had Been Reported Today (22)

One imported Corona positive who is a
Sri Lankan artived from Maldives had been reported today (22) as the first Corona positive reported from here after  a lapse of two days according to the Epidemeology unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported from Sri Lanka so far had been increaesed to 1951 the unit has stated .

During last Saturday (20) and Sunday (21) not a single case of Corona positive jas been reported through the 2008 "PCR " Tests carried out the Epidemeology Unit has stated .

A total number of 96,268 "PCR " Tests had been performed in Sri lanka up to yesterday (21) accotding to reports .

NO Corona Positives Reported Yrsterday (21)

For the second consecutive day no
Corona virus positives had been reported in the country yesterday (21)as well according to the Epidemeology Unit.

The total number of Corona positives reported in the country remain as 1950 and 441 corona positives and 25 suspected as positives are being treated at Government hospitals at present the unit has stated .

Four Drowned Whilst Bathing In Sea Arra At Wattala Last Saturday Evening (20)

Four had been drowned whilst bathing in the sea area at Dikowita
,Wattala  last saturday evening(20)  according to the police.

Accordingly  the deceased were of the ages 14,16,19 and 30  and they had been drifted away by strong sea waves whilst  bathing it has been revealed.

Altogether seven persons including members of one family had gone to the sea area and as five of them.drowned due to the rough sea waves ,Navy divers arrived at the scene had rescued them and admitted to hospital .

However four of them including two females died at the hospital and another 24 year old female is currently recriving troeatment at the Hospital intensive care unit .
