Two Corona Positives Reported So Far Today (18)

A total of 02 Corona positives had been

reported today (18) so far increasing the total number of Corona positives reported in the country to 1926 according to the Epode meology Unit .

Accordingly out of the two reported cases one was an arrival from United Kingdom and other one was from Russia .

24 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged Today (18) After Full Recovery

A total of 24 Corona positives had been

discharged from Government hospitals today (18)after full recovery according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly the total number of Corona virus positives discharged from hospitals in Sri Lanka so far after full recovery has been increased to 1421 the Unit has stated.

At the moment 494 Corona positives and 61 suspected as Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals .

290 Sri Lankans Stranded In Dubai Brought Back To Sri Lanka This Morning (18)

A total of 290 Sri Lankans stranded in

Dubai ,United Arab Emirates including 100 pregnent females and 08 children ,due to Corona pandamic had been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (18) through a Special Sri lankan airlines flight it has been reported .

A government hospital staff had performed "PCR "tests on all the passangers of the flight and the cabin crew .

Afterwards they were tramsported to 04 hotels near the Katunayake Airport to stay there untill receiving the test reults .

09 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (17)

A total of 09 Corona positives had been

reported in the country yesterday (17)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from the country to 1924 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly out of the first 08 Corona positives reported yesterday ,5 were persons arrived from Chennai,India and under quarantine at quarantine centers and 03 were Navy personal.

At the moment 516 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals the Unit has stated.
