20 Corona virus positives had been

reported yesterday (21) ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 1047 according to Epidemeology Unit .

17 Out of the  first 19 Corona positives reported yesterday were those who had arrived sri lanka from Dubai and undergoing  quarantine at Quarantine centers and 04 were Navy personal it has been reported .

At the moment 435 Corona Positives are being treated in Government Hospitals .

A Huge Stampade In Maligawatte Killed Three Females And Sent Nine Others To The Hospital

Three females had been killed and Nine

persons including Eight females and a Male had been injured and hospitalized due to a huge stampade occurred at Jumma Masjid Road in Maligawatte ,Colombo durimg a distribution of money organized by an organization related to a Mosque in the area .

All injured petsons had been admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo and few of them are currently at the Intensive Care Unit according to sources .

Maligawatte Police have arrested six persons over organizing the Money distribution programme held at a Building in Jumma Masjid Road at a time when there's a curfew is being imposed in Colombo and Mass gatherings are being banned to prevent spreading Corona virus .

Twenty Corona virus positives had

been discharged from hospitals this norning (21) at 10 a.m after fully recovered according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly 604 Corona positives had been discharged so far the Unit has stated .
