Updated--- 29 New Corona Virus Positives Had Been Reported Today (06)-Total Number Increased To 797

During today (06)up to 11.30. p.m 29
Corona virus positives had been reported in the island ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 797 according  to the Epidemeology unit.

Accordingly 573  Corona virus positives are being currently treated in Govenment Hospitals .

Meanwhile two Corona Virus positives had discharged from hospitals today after fully recovered uncreasing the total number of positives discharged from hospitals so far to 215 .

A Van Driver Injured Due To A Road Accident In Jaffna

A van driver was injured and
hospitalized after the laxurious van he was  driving in  veering off the road and crashed in to a tree nearby last evening (05) at Kayts in jaffna according to police .

The injured driver had been admitted to Jaffna Teaching Hospital for treatment .

Kayts Police are investigating on the incident .

Two Navy Personal Infected With Corona Virus Had Been Discharged Ftom Hospital.After Full Recovery

A Navy soldier infected with Corona
virus who had been hospitalized had been discharged after full recovery yesterday (05).

The discharged Navy soldier  who was in Eastern Colombo Hospital ,Mulletiyawa was identified as infected with the virus on 25 th of April.

He is attached to Navy camp in Welisara and the second Navy soldier to be discharged within last few days after full recovery .

A Group Of 194 Stranded Sri Lankan Students Were Brought Bsck From Lomdon

194 Sri lankans  who were stranded
mainly in London had been brought back to Sri lanka in the wee hours of this morning (06)through a Special Sri Lsnkan Airlines flight .

Accordingly 194 Sri lankans mainly students who were stranded at London amd few Sri lankans stranded in USA and Canada and arrived in London to fly to Sri lanka had been brought back Sri lankan Airlines has announced .

All these passangers were seated inside the flight both Business and Economy classez  according to Social distancing rules and they and their luggages had been disinfected by the Sri lanka airforce after their arrival.

Afterwards they were transported to Quarantine centers for quarantine through special buses .Those who wants to pay and Quarantine at hotels were transported to selected hotels in Colombo suburbs and others to Quarantine centers run by Sri lanka Army .Quarantine process of those transported to Hotels too are being monitored by Sri lanka Army .

Some in the previous batch of Students brought back from London too are being quarantined at present in Hotels by paying Rs.7500 per day for a room .
