Sixteen Corona Virus Positives Had Been Identified Yesterday (14)-Epidemeology Unit
Sixteen new corona virus positives had
been identified from the country yesterday (14)increasing the total number of corona virus positive patients reported from the country to 233.
Two of the positives had been identified during the morning session and fourteen others had been identified during last night through PCR test according to the Epidemeology unit .
All of these Corona virus positives had been identified whilst at quarantine centers and they were infected with virus due to the close contacts they had with corona virus positives that have identified earlier it has been revealed .
Out of the fourteen corona virus positives identified last night 08 had been found from the palali Quarantaine center in Jaffna ,Four from mullankovil Quarantine Center and one from a Quarantine center in puttalam .Another positive also had been identified from another quarantine center according to the Health Ministry .
With these corona virus positives the total number of positives currently being received treatment at four Government hospitals are stands as 165.
Meanwhile five Corona virus positives received treatment at Government hospitals had been discharged from Hospitals yesterday (14) after recovered fully .The total number of corona virus positives discharged from hospitals had risen to 61 according to the latest figures .There were seven corona deaths reported from the country .

CID Arrested Former MP Rishad Baduideen's Brother Over Easte Sunday Attacks

(CID)officers had arrested the brother of former Minister of the good governance government Rishad Baduideen ,Riyaad Baduideen this evening (14)at a raid carriedout at Puttallam over easter sunday attacks .
The brother of the former minister was arrested according to an investigations carried out on CID)Easter Sunday attacks occurred on 21 st of April last year

Former UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake Was Arrested And Remanded

(UNP)parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake who had been arrested by the Mirihana Police last night (13)at his residence in Madiwela Housing scheme over obstructing the duties of police officers was remanded until 20 th of April by Nugegoda Magistrate today (14).
Former MP Rsmanayake was arrested by the police when he had argued with police officers who had stopped a physiotherapist from entering MP ramanayaka's residence as he had not possess a valid curfrew pass.
The physiotheeapist got a curfew pass expired last sunday according to the police .The physiotherapist was also arrested by the police and later he was released after producing before the magistrate on Rs.100,000 surety bail .
However Former MP Ramanayake has told the media that the Physiotherapist is his friend and he came to handover a donation comprising of rice sacks and vegetables to be distributed among those who hadnt reveived dry rations during curfew hours .
Meanwhile the former MP who had been remanded after producing before Nugegoda Magistrate court had been sent to the Negambo Quarantine center it has been revealed .
