Imprisoned Former Sri Lankan Ambassador Udayanga Weerathunge Released On Bail Yesterday (03)
Former Sri Lankan Ambassador To Russia Udayanga Weerathunga who had been arrested and remanded over the scandalous Mig Aircraft deal ,has been granted bail yesterday (03) by the Colombo Fort Magistrate.
Accordingly Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake had released the former Sri Lankan Ambassador on Rs. 2.5 million worth cash bail and two Surety bails of Rs.50 million each after hearing his case through video technology.
Suspect Weerathunge who was arrested on his arrival last February had been remanded by the court and was in prison Hospital until Yesterday.
The Magistrate had announced the decision based on the spreading of Corona virus in the country. it has been stated.

Cremation Of The Fourth Corona Positive Victim Had Taken Place
The cremation of the fourth corona virus victim who has died yesterday (02)at Intensive care unit of the IDH Hospital, Angoda had taken place this noon at Kotikawatta -Mulleriyawa Crematorium under the International Quarantine laws .
The deceased was a 58 year old male resided at Wedikanda,Ratmalana and he was believed to be infected with the corona virus after visiting velankanni Church in India along with his wife .
They have returned to the island from India on 10th of March and on 16 th of March both the deceased and his wife had fallen sick and received treatment from A private Hospital in Mount Lavinia it has been revealed .
As they have shown corona virus symptoms doctors of the hospital advised them to admit to the IDH Hospital, ,Angoda. ..Under the instructions of the Private hospital doctors both the deceased and his wife had been admitted to IDH Hospital and tested positive for Corona virus .
However his wife had recovered and left for home on 31st of March and the deceased had been admitted to the Hospital ICU For furher tretention However he had pronounced as dead last night. The diseases had not suffered from any non communicable diseases like previous three corona virus victims it has been revealed.

Over 11,000 Had Been Arrested Over Violating Curfew
Police have arrested 11,607 corona virus positives over violating the curfew and taken in to custody 2678 vehicles since the curfew has been imposed on 20 th of March according to Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG)Ajith Rohana .
Today (03)from 6 a.m to 6 p.m 588 persons and 151 vehicles had been taken in to custody over violating the curfew he has stated .

Updated -Eight Corona Virus Positives Had Been Reported From Sri Lanka Today (03)-Total Number Of Positives Increased To 159
A total number of 08 corona virus positives had seen reported from Sri Lanka today (03)by 10.10 p.m, increasing the number of Corona positives reported from Sri Lanka to 159 according to the Epidemiology Unit.
The total number of Corona virus positives now being treated at 03 government Hospitals is 131 the Unit has stated.
