Police To Take Legal Action Against Three Cotona Virus Positives Over Hiding Their Status

Ajith Rohana has today (27)stated that Police will take a legal  action  against three corona virus postives identified yesterday  (26)over admitting to Government  and private hospitals providing false information regarding Corona virus status.

One patient identified yesterday had been admitted to a Private hospital by hiding hia corona virus status it had been revealed.

Other two persons had been charged over the same offence it had been revealed  .

A 59 year old Sri Lankan lived in
Switzerland has died due to Corona yesterday   (26)Ministry of Foreign Relations had confirmed today  (27).

The deceased S.Loganathan was a resident of Punkuduthivu  in Jaffna District the Ministey has announced  .It is likely to hold  his funeral in  Switzerland  under present circumstance it has been revealed.

The deceased was under self quarantine according to the instructions issued by Swiss Police after being tested positive for Corona virus .

Meamwhile Ministry Of Foreign Relations has stated that another 32 year old Sri Lankan in France is being reported as tested positive for Corona virus and currently receiving ICU Treatment there .However his present condition is not yet been revealed.

Around 11,951 Swiss Nationals have been infected with Corona Virus  and 197 persons  had died in Switzerland due to the corona virus up to now according to reports .

Government Ordered To Shut Down All Free Trade Zones

Ministry Of Industrial Exports and Investment Promotions has today (26)ordered to shut down all free trade zones until further notice to facilitate  the free trade zone workers who are stranded due to the nation wide curfew to go home.

Minister prasanna Ranathunge has stated that  the free trade  zone workers will be transported to their home with the assistance of Sri  Lanka Army and Police after  undergoing. A health checkup .

The shut down of all free trade zones has been announced   after National Trade Center had sent a letter to Prime Minister  Mahinda Rajapakshe showing the doffocties faced by free trade zone workers due to the ongoing curfew .

There were complaints thst some shop owners of free trade zone had forced workers to work although government has announced a social distancing method to combat against Corona Virus .
