Ministry Of Health Decided To Open Pharmacies During Curfew Hours
Ministry of Health has advised the
Inspector General Of Police(IGP) to give permission to open all government and private Pharmacies islandwide during curfew hours for the benefit of patients.
As Kilo meters long queues had been seen in front of pharmacies both yesterday (23)and today (24)after lifting the curfew ,Health Ministry has today decided to open these pharmacies during curfew hours as well .
Patients can use diagnose card and drug prescription card issued by a doctor as a curfew pass when having access to pharmacies the Ministry has stated .

Corona Virus Positives Identified In Sri Lanka Passed 100
Four new Corona virus positives had
been confirmed within today (24)up to 6.50 p.m increasing the total number of Corona Virus positives in the country to 101 .
Out of this number 100 are Sri Lankan patients and 01 was a Chinese patient. All Sri lankan Corona virus postives had been identified during last 14 days since 10 th of march it has been revealed .
Around 229 corona virus suspected cases are being treated at 19 government Hospitals up to now according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Out of these suspected cases majoroty around 97 (95-locals and 02 foreigners )are being treated at Infectious Diseases Hospital in Angoda the unit has stated .There are 224 Sri Lankans and 05 foreigners currently being admitted to hospitals as corona virus suspects.
To prevent spreading corona virus among communities doctors have requested public to stay at home ,adapted social distance practices and wash hands so often .

Police Have Arrested 2036 Persons Over Violating Curfew Rules
Police have arrested 2036 persons over
violating curfew rules during 6 p.m. on last friday (20)evening up to 8 p.m. today (23)according to the Police Headquarters .
Police have also taken in to custody 501 vehicles including Motorcycles ,Three Wheeler s and Cars travelling during the curfew period .
