Dental Doctors To Stop Performing Normal Teatment In Dental Units

Government Dental and Dental

Surgeons Trade Unions have decided to suspend all normal Dental treatments provide by All Dental Units throughout the island including  National Dental Institute in Colombo until further notice in view of avoid the spreading of Corona virus in the country .

Accordingly All normal dental treatment facilities avaiable includes removing tooth ,cleaning and nerve fillings will not be performed in dental units until further notice .

Only Emergancy treatment and surgeries will be performed in Dental units .Public are being advised to visit a dental doctor   only if an Emergancy treatment needed

Gazette Notification today (18)to announce the maximum retail price of a Kilo Gramme of Big Anions as Rs.150 .

Earlier Consumer Affairs Authority has announced the maximum retail price of a Kilo Gramme of Big Anions, But not issued a Gazette notifixation in that regard .

Curfew Imposed In 19 Police Divisions To Be Lifted Temporarily Tomorrow Morning(19)

The Police curfew imposed in 19  Police

divisions at Puttalam , Chilaw and Negambo Districts since this evening (18)is scheduled to be lifted temporarily at 8 a.m tomorrow morning (19 )and will be re imposed at 2 p.m in the evening until further notice according to the Police.

The curfew has been imposed since 4.30.p.m this evening  in view of preventing spread of Corona virus here .

Eight New Corona Virus Positives Identified Today (18)-Total Number Of Corona Virus Positives

Eight new Corona virus positives had

been confirmed today (18)bringing the total number of Corona virus positives in the country  to 52 according  to  Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.

Three Sri lankan tourist guides who guided a group of British tourists visited here recently  ,A person arrived from Britain and two persons arrived from India are  among those corona virus positives identified within today  .

Around 212 persons suspected as infected with Corona Virus are being treated at 16 government Hospitals including Infectious Diseases Hospital Angoda by this noon .

Meanwhile Army Commander General Shavendra De Silva had stated today that 18 out of 52 corona positives identified in the country are from quarantine Centers
