A Scientific Mechanism Needs To Contain Spreading Of Corona Virus If The Virus Arrives Here -President

President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had

advised the National Security Action Committe on Corona Virus to adapt a scientific mechanism to contain the spreading of Corona Virus if the virus begin spreading in the country.

President who had met the committee members at the Presidential Secretariet in Colombo yesterday (06)has told the Committe members to be ready to provide quarantine centers ,resource personal and equipment if thete's a step taken to quarantine those who are arriving in from Corona Virus hit countries.

The committee who had earlier announced to the media that a decision had been Taken to quarantine all Passangers arriving in from Corona virus hit countries like Italy, Iran and south Korea yesterday recommended president to quarantine those arriving in from the above mentioned countries.

Sri Lanka has so far taken correct steps to prevent spreading of Corona virus here President has further started.

However experts have stated that although it will affect the country 's tourism industry Sri Lanka should have taken steps to impose a foreign travel ban on all Citizens of Corona hit China, Italy, South Korea and Iran to prevent the spreading of the virus here.As an example Maldives has done that already they have stressed .

Also government should have taken a decision on.how to conduct election rallies prior to the forthcoming General Elections in.Sri Lanka as the Health experts advised the public to avoid crowded areas and public places in view of preventing the spreading of the virus local experts have requested ..

Colombo Fort Magistrate Had Issued Warrants To Arrest 09 Suspects Including MP Ravi Karunanayake Over The Central Bank Bond Scam

Dissanayake has yesterday (06)warrants to arrest 09 persons including the UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake ,Former Central. Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran amd Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjun Aloysius over their involvment in Central Bank Bond Scam in 2015 .

However Magistrate has refused to issue warrants for 10 th suspect of the Bond Scam incident Buddhika sartah thchandra due to lack of evidence against him.

The arrest warrants had been issued according to a request made by Attorney General Dappula De Livera from the Acting Inspector General Of Police to obtain an arrest warrants from court to arrest these suspects .

However Magistrate has requested Attorney General's 'Department to provide evidence to confirm the link between these suspects and the Bond scam incident .

Sri Lankan Airlines To Suspend All Flights To China And Saudi Arabia Amidst Corona Virus Issue

Sri Lankan Airlines has decided to

temporarily suspend all flights to China and Saudi Arabia from 10 th March to 30 th of April as a meassure of preventing the spreading of Corona Virus the Airlines has announced.

Accordingly Sri Lankan Airlines will suspend it's flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Gwansha in China and Saudi Arabia .

The flights to Saudi Arabia is scheduled to be suspended according to the recommendation of Saudi Arabian Civil .Aviation Authority it has been repoeted .

This is the first time that the Sri Lanka s National Carrier Sri Lankan Airllines has decided to suspend their flights to Corona hit countries.

Even World Health Organization(WHO) has announced that many nations are not adapting significant measures to combat against deadly Corona Virus although warned by the Organization .
