Sri Lanka Too Checking Chinese Tourists On New Corona Virus
Although there's no threat of spreading
the New Corona virus currently spreading in China ,in Sri Lanka the Health Unit of the Katunayake International Airport is currently screening all Chinese tourists arriving in the country to see whether they are carrying the virus according to the Chief EpidemeologIst of the Epidemeology Unit Dr.Sudath Samaraweera .
Public should not be panic over the situation But need to follow good practice s like using handkerchief to cover nose and face during sneezing ,not touching the face and nose often and avoid public places and popular areas to prevent spreading of the disease Dr Samaraweera has stressed.

Former Media Ministeri Keheliya Rambukwella And Printing Corporation Chairman Released From A Court Case
Colombo Chief Magistrate Court has
today (20) released the former Media Minister of the Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe s Regime before 2015 Keheliya Rambukwella and then chairman of the State Printing Corporation Jayampathy Bandara Heenkanda from the case filed against them by Bribery Commission due to an error of the way which filed the case against them.
The case filed against the former Media Minister Rambukwella and Heenkanda over settling the monthly mobile bill of Rs.230,934 of the former Minister by using the funds of state printing Corporation ,by the Bribery Comission was filed without an approval of the Bribery Commissioners the Court has stated.
The Bribery Commission can again file a case against the two officials without any objection court has stated .

Retired Judge Padmini Ranawake Had Given A Three And Half Hour Statement To CCD

Padmini Ranawake had today (20)appeared before the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD)at Dematagoda ,Colombo and given a Three and half hour statement regarding the allegations levelled against her over involving in telephone conversations with remanded UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake .
Retired Judge Ranawake had appeared before the CCD accordance to a request made by them .CCD had requested Retired Judge Ranawake to give a statement after Attorney General Dappula De Livera had ordered the CCD Director to record statements from all judges involved in telephone conversations with MP Ramanayake.
However as the government Analyst still not yet been confirmed whether the voices in released audio clips citculated in social media are true or not ,Attorney General and CCD are continuously aressting and remanding persons said to be involved in controversial telephone conversations with MP Ramanayake according to sources ..

Two Foreign Nationals And Two Guides Had Been Injured Due To A Wasp Attack
Two foreign Nationals and two local
Tourist guides had been injured and hospitalized due to a Wasp attack at Horton plains Wild Life Park in World's End today (20).
The injured had been admitted to the Nuwara Eliya General Hospital from an Emergancy Ambulance .Their condition is not critical according to sources .
However the two injured foreign Nationals are in a state of shock it has been reported.
