Two Motorcyclists And A Piliion Rider Had Been Injured Due To Colliding Of Two Motorcycles

Two Motorcyclists and a pillion rider
haf been injured and hospitalized after the two high speed Motorcycles they were riding in colliding with each other face to face this evening (31) at Gondennawa area in Navalapitiya on Navalapitiya-Gampola main road .

The injured had been admitted to Navalapitiya District Hospital for treatment  .

The incident occurred when the two high speed Motorcycles had attempted to overtake a lorry travelling in a same direction it has been revealed.

The two motorcycles had badly damaged due to the incident. 

Army Personal Arrested A Youth With A Kilo Gramme Of Heroin

Army personal had arrested a 24 year
old person with around a Kilo Gramme of Heroin in possession at a Private Bus travelling from Colombo to Mannar in an Army  Road Barricade located at Settikulam ,Vavuniya today (31).

The suspect had been  arrested during the inspection carried out by  Army personal in the  Private Bus at the Army Barricade in Settikulam .

The haul of Heroin was recovered inside the luggage belonging to the suspect and the suspect had attempted to fled away from the Bus by saying the luggage not belongs to him after recovering it according to reports .

The suspect who is a resident of Punerin area in Kilinochchi and the haul of Heroin worth more than Rs.10 million are due to be produced before Vavuniya Magistrate Court.

Settikulam Police are conducting an investigations over the incident .

Colombo Chief Magistrate Had Released Remanded Local Swiss Embassy Visa Officer Under Strict Bail Comditions

Jayaratne had ordered to release the Visa officer of Swiss Embassy in Colombo  Garnia Barrister Francis who had been remanded over providing false abduction charges under strict bail conditions on two surety bails of Rs.500,000 each yesterday(30).

The Suspected Visa officer was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Jayaratne yesterday .Chief Magistrate had ordered the Visa officer to priduce a Grama Niladhari Certificatte to the court to prove her residenship and also Grama Seva Niladhari certificettes of two attesters signed bail application behalf of her proving their residentship.

Magistrate had also ordered the Visa officer to provide her current address to the court as well as hand over her passport to the court as a foreign travel ban imposed on her .

Magistrate has also ordered the suspected Visa officer to inform the court if she is planning to change her residence .

The Case against the Swiss Embassy Visa Officer is scheduled to be taken up for hearing on 09 th of Janauary .
