Hospital ,Welikada arrived in to trransfer Former Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne who is under remand custody at Lanka Hospital ,Narahenpita to Prison Hospital ,gone back without him aftet awaiting five hours last evening (29)as the Cimsultant in  Charge of Dr.Senaratne had refused to release him from the Hospital.

Last morning Prison Hospital officials had decided to transfer Dr
Senaratne from Lanka hospital to Prison Hospital after his condition was checked by a normal Medical officer atached to Prison Hospital .

However Dr.Uma  shankar in charge of Dr.Senaratne has yesterday (29)informed Prisons Supirintendent Samantha Alahakoon that she vannot taken responsibility if something happens to his patient after transfer him to Prison Hospital .

Afterwards the Ambulance sent by Prison Hospital to Lanka Hospital to bring Dr.Senaratne with prison officers had retutned Prison Hospital with empty hands it has been revealed.

Meanehile Colombo Magistrate Court is today (30)due to  take up  the revised bail application submitted by Dr.Senaratne last week for hearing .

Police Commission Had Transferred 51 Higher Police Officers

National Police Commission had

approved the transfers of 51 Higher Police Officers from Senior Supirintendent of Police to Senior Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG) with immediatte effect .

Accordingly Nuwan Wedasimghe has been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)as the DIG) in charge of CID the Commission has announced.

A Body Of A Deceased Foreigner Had Recovered From Kalmunai Sea Coast

A body of a 45 year old foreigner had

been recovered from the sea coastal area of Kalmunai in Kaththankudy ,Batticaloa today (28).
