A Seven Year Old Boy Died Aftet Falling Into A Well

A seven year old boy has died after
falling in  to a well at Kandegama,Ridimaliadda yesterday (16).

The deceased boy had fallen in to the well whilst bathing it has been revealed .
The mother had rescued the boy who was in the well and admitted him to the Bibila Hospital for treatment .However he had succumbed to his injuries whilst receiving treatment.

Another 24 Hour Wafer Cut To Be Implemented In Kandy Tomorrow (17)

Another 24 hour water cut is
scheduleto be implemented in several areas of Kandy District from 7 a.m tomorrow(17)  until 7 a.m on next day (18) due to a maintainance work at Meewathura Water purification plant in Kandy accordance to Nationalpl Water supplies and drainage Board .

Accordingly 24 hour water cut is scheduled to be implemented in Udunuwara,yatinuwara,pilimathalawa,Kadugannawa ,Gannoruwa,peradeniya and another 09 areas .

A Person Was Arrested With 1.528 KG Of Heroin In Possession

A Special police Team attached to North
Colombo Police division had today (16)arrested a person whilst carrying 1.528 Kilo grammes of Heroin in a bag at Jampatah Street ,Colombo it has been reported .

The suspect who is a resident of Maradana area has hidden the haul of Heroin in a bag to handover it to another smuggler .

The haul.of Heroin recovered from the bag of the suspect belongs to the organized criminal and a prisoner on death row Dematagoda Chaminda according to police .

Police have obtained a detention order from Maligakanda Magistrate after the suspect had been produced before the Magistrate today ,until 18 th of december to question him further.

The haul of Heroin taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is worth more than Rs.10.5 million it has been revealed.
