Presidential Secretary Ordered Provincial Governors To Resign

Jayasundare has today (20)requested all Provincial Governors to resign from their posts with  immediatte effect  it has been reported .

The request has been made accordance to the order of President Gotabaya Rajapakshe to allow him to appoint new governors to Provincial councils according to sources .

Podu Jana Pramuna Party Wimal Werawanshe who is being charged over illegally owning  Two VIP passports and have  several other court cases  related to misusing of  state funds to his credit ,has today (20)said that new minority interim government will investigate on Central Bank Bond Scam from the  begining .

As still not been able to clear from the serious charges levelled against him MP weeawanshe who is also the leader of Jathika Nidahas Peramuna had pointed his finger towards  UNP Government members during a press briefing held in Colombo today (20 )over corruption charges .

Many who are supporting Rajapakshe family members  had forgotten  that last year the opposition leader who is to be   sworn in as prime minister had illegally attempted  to be Prime Minister with the help of Former President Sirisena . 

Prime Minister Ranil Wilramasimghe To Step Down From Premiership-Mahinda Rajapakshe To Be Sworn In As New Premier

Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe
has decided to step down from premiership it has been announced this evening (20).

Prime Minister has taken this decision although he has power to stay in Premiership under the 19 th Amendment of the constitution to allow current president Gotabaya Rajapakshe to form an interim government until the General Election it has been revealed.


Prime Minister is scheduled to be informed his decision to the President Gotabaya Rajapakshe tomorrow (21).However Governing United National Front got the majority of power in the parliament .

Meanwhile Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakshe is scheduled to be sworn in as Prime Minister tomorrow (21) according to reports .
