A Female Was Arrested With A Stock Of "Ice"Narcotic

(STF)had yesterday (04)arrested a 42 year old female with 45 Grammes of "Ice "narcotic in possession at a residence in Mount Lavinia area .
The arrest was made accordance to an information received by the intelligence Unit of the STF .
The estimated value of the stock of "Ice "narcotic taken in to custody in possession of the suspected female is nearly Rs.500,000 it has been revealed .
The suspected female along with the stock of narcotic had handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police for further investigations .

Naval Command and officials attached to Nawala Excise Drpartment unit had arrested a narcotic smuggler whilst transporting 650 Foreign liquor bottles in a Motor Car illegally at Wattala area yesterday (04) during a search operation carried out in the area .
Three consumers arrived in a Car to putchase the Foreign liquor bottles from the smuggler had been also arrested by the officials .
The three suspects ,Stock of Foreign Liquor bottles and the Motor Car taken into custody had handed over to the Excise Department for further investigations .

A Second Year University Student Died After Admission To Hospital
A second year student attached to
Sabaragamuwa University has died after admission to hospital due to an unidentified illness last Sunday (03)it has been reported .
The student attached to the Geological Science Faculty of the university and a resident of Walapane area had admitted to the Balangoda Base Hospital with fainting condition and he has died after being transferred to Colombo National Hospital for further treatment .The cause of the death has not yet been revealed .
